For this Renaissance themed wedding, the bride originally requested a scroll that could be mailed in a tube or box. This concept was a budget buster so we came up with this great alternative. The invitation is printed on a parchment cardstock and is folded in a “Z” folds so that when opened it will unfold as if it where rolled up like a scroll. The invitation is then wrapped in a matching textured cream paper that has a rag or torn looking edge for an aged feel. Holding everything together is a matching green ribbon that is secured with a plastic self-adhesive seal of the couples initial. A plastic seal was used instead of a wax seal because the wax would crumble in the mail.
